Strong Roots Greenhouse Project

A Living Classroom for Mindfulness and the Earth

There’s a quiet kind of healing that happens when hands meet soil,

When breath slows beside seedlings,

When we tend the earth as she tends to us.

Don't mind the bad photo editing, this is just for an example
We would buy the wood and connectors & the exact location is yet to be determined

These look very whimsy and rustic, with the right angle for this photo

The Strong Roots Greenhouse Project was born from this knowing:
mindfulness and nourishment are not separate practices.

We’re raising $7,000 to build a community greenhouse: a living classroom, a sanctuary for learning, and a small act of faith in a thriving, local, mindful future. The price comes from a friend that raises greenhouses for a living amongst other things and is for a conventional large greenhouse. This gives us enough funds to built more than one geodesic dome built ourselves!

Why this matters

In a world of speed and noise, people are forgetting how to breathe with the seasons, how to be at home on the earth. This greenhouse will be a place to remember, where neighbors meet between rows of green, where children learn to plant and elders teach the patience of roots.

The greenhouse will stand not only for food security, but for spiritual resilience: the nourishment of heart, soil, and community.

Rooted in Mindfulness

This project grows from the same soil as my daily practice:

the vow to live simply, to serve the earth, and to awaken joy in ordinary life.

Through this work, I hope to remind others that every act of care;
every watering, every harvest, every breath, can be an act of awakening.

Come plant seeds and intentions with us.

Help raise the walls of this living classroom!

Let’s grow food and friendship, roots and awareness - right here, together.
